Stephano Petrocca has never met a groove, a song or a stage he couldn't pocket.
He's a true player. A hands-on musician's musician. A five-string, Fender-Jazz-slingin' virtuoso who's graduated Montreal's sweaty pub and concert-hall curriculum with distinction, thumping along in ragtag musical ensembles with various artists touring Canada, Europe and South America.

But then don't let the fat bottom obsession fool ya. This grizzled roadster is no one-trick pony.
Truth is, Stephano has also found meditative refuge in the studio, where he tackles diverse session gigs, teaches privately and continues to nurture a growing passion for songwriting, arranging and producing. A self-taught singer and guitarist, he's equally at home fiddling with an MPC 1000, belting out Tyleresque harmonies, wailing on a blues harp, playing percussion off the body of an upright bass, or toying with any other instrument he puts his soundscaping mind to.

Stephano has written and produced scores of Pop, World, Funk, Rock, Soul and R&B tracks, including music for film. He's on the verge of releasing two very different albums. One has the singer/songwriter front and centre, the other explores the unique potential of the bass instrument, his first true love.
