Shari is a British singer from Birmingham, UK. Known for her brimming and soulful vocals, the Midlands artist never ceases to exceed the expectations of her listeners. Inspired by RnB artists such as Brandy, Usher, Avant and Joe ; Shari executes elastic vocal delivery.
At a young age, Shari began fine tuning her musical ear by listening, imitating and then replicating sounds and songs by voice artists and singers she grew fond of as a child. This form of cartooning is what gives the vocalist her expressive stamp.
At school, Shari was highlighted as vocally skilled so she took on various musical roles and played the part of Sandy in 'Grease', sang as part of a choir and entered various talent competitions throughout her secondary school life. In time, she went on to record vocals at a professional recording studio in her home town.
Later she devoted her capabilities towards a much deeper cause, encouraging the youth of inner-city Birmingham to escape street crime through a performance campaign titled Voices Against Crime, with the mindset of Positioning Youth to Prosper.
The West Midlands native Vocalist, is homegrown and self-taught and has plans to further her technical and theoretical abilities in the hopes of progressing and enhancing her already wide vocal range and musical knowledge. Shari possesses natural harmonic intuition and demonstrates effortless rhythmical flare. It is an understatement to say she is a rounded and well defined, natural talent.
Presently working with UK Rap Artist Taja on an E.P, Shari aims to proceed with collaborations that bring to light her passion for fusion and feel good music.
