Hello my name is Michael Brandt, Im a drummer with almost 2 decades of professional touring and recording experience. I love being creative and collaborating on musical ideas. I am proficient in a wide variety of styles including Rock, Metal, Country, Americana, singer/songwriter, Blues and Funk to name a few.
My studio is always set up and ready to create sounds and grooves to make your vision come to life! I have a full array of snare drums, cymbals, drum kits and a wide range of percussion instruments. Whether it’s a straight ahead rock song or a ballad I feel confident that I have the tools to get the sound you’re looking for.
I work exclusively in Logic Pro and use a Focusrite 18i20 interface with hand selected microphones that sound best in my creative space; some of which are a pair of Aston Origins, Shure SM57 and SM7B, Audix D6, Solomon "low-boy" sub-kick, Sennheiser E604 and a few miscellaneous crush and room mics that can add warmth and grit to your desired sound.
Upon receiving your audio file I prefer to discuss briefly what exactly it is you're looking for and then get to work to provide a quick turn around time with high quality multi-tracked drums and percussion that fits your project.
I will record and send MP3's of 2 different takes to choose from. Once you have decided on which track you prefer, I will make up to 2 revisions on the track if needed. The completed session file will be sent over once payment has been received.
