Big Man James Trio is Blues-Soul-Funk band from Codgono, Italy made up Big Man James (Giacomo Cassoni) voice and guitar, Little B (Michele Zanoni) bass guitar and Emanuele Corbellini on the drum. Big Man is blues man who decided to dedicate his life to music when he started to listen Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and B.B. King. He played in various bands as BluesExperience, Single Barrel and Are Jay in which he performed as opening act Davide Van De Sfroos and Treves Blues Band shows. In 2016 he started a one man band project that gave him new visibility attending some importance stage as South Italy Blues Connection (V connection) in Matera, Malcesine Blues festival (VIII edition).
In 2017 he released an EP, My Clouds, in which we found some classic standards of the Blues culture and an orginal song, My Clouds. In the same year, Big Man James Trio was, with Andrea Zetti and after Fedexina Rossi on the drums and Little B. (Michele Zanoni) on the bass. Big Man James Trio played in various important italian blues festival as South Italy Blues Connection (VI connection) in Matera, Malcesine Blues Festival (IX edition), Festival Blues di Finale Ligure, Blues Made in Italy. In October, Big Man James Trio performed as opening act Carvin Jones’s show at Spazio Musica in Pavia.
In 2018 Big Man James Trio produced its first album: Another. This album drops the 30th of June and it is comprised by 8 original tracks, recorded at the Elfo Studio. Another has already been reviewed from Blues Magazine and Baoblog-RocknRoll398. Big Man James Trio presented Another with a special live show together with Riccardo Maccabruni, famous keyboard player and artist. The band continued its live performances in all the country with a considerable number of live performances (30 up to August). In August, the band played on the main stage of the Malcesine Blues Festival (X edition). The band played more than 30 lives in all the country.
