I’m a guitarist and recording engineer experienced in Blues, Classic Rock, Hard Rock, and old-school Heavy Metal, as well as Folk, Singer-Songwriter, and Americana. No matter the genre, my focus is always on playing and recording parts that serve the song and its vibe.
My studio features a curated collection of vintage and high end guitars, boutique amps, and high-end recording gear — including Gibsons, Fenders, Neve and API eqs and preamps, and Neumann and Royer microphones — captured through pristine conversion and monitoring (ATC, Amphion).
I work in Logic Pro up to 96 kHz, using either a Burl B2 or Ferrofish Pulse converter, and can also provide a Tonex profile of the recording chain if desired, which you can use live or for future sessions.
I’m happy to discuss tone references or arrangement ideas before recording, ensuring that the result fits perfectly into your mix.
