London based guitarist Ben Witherstone first fell in love with the guitar at age 12. He has been a musician all his professional life. Ben is now well known in his city for his versatility, reliability and being able to adapt to any musical situation.

To date he has recorded on hundreds of tracks both at client studios and remotely.

Ben’s experience spans: backing/working with artists in a live and studio situation; Arena touring; West End and touring pit orchestras; high end function/corporate events; worship music; Library and Production music. Ben has played on many recordings to date including commercial releases for top 10 and Multi-platinum producers.

Ben prefers to work with stems so he can hear every detail to and ensure the parts he records are immaculately tailored to your track and fit perfectly with the other instruments.

WE DISCUSS YOUR FULL REQUIREMENTS AND VISION
Ben endeavours to understand your entire creative vision, and create parts which represent that.

This could involve discussion of sounds, equipment and/or reference tracks

I CREATE AND RECORD YOUR PARTS
You can be free to work on other music, be with family or sit on the beach! Alternatively, you can sit in on the session via video-conferencing. Ben uses Audiomovers to stream audio from his DAW in the highest quality in real-time. Ben can also capture HD video of the recording process.

I SEND YOU A .MP3 SAMPLE MIX
I will send a bounce of the recorded parts for your review. This can be with our without your original track.

YOU SEND ME FEEDBACK/NOTES
Many clients are happy with the initial parts. An in depth discussion of your vision at stage 2 helps to make this possible!

REVISIONS ARE CARRIED OUT
Often unnecessary! Ben will honour your brief as closely as possible to get to the sound you hear in your head.

BALANCE IS PAID AND FINISHED QUALITY GUITAR PARTS ARE TRANSFERRED TO YOU VIA DROPBOX.
Fully labelled parts are bounced and sent to you via my premium Dropbox account. These can be exported in the format, bit depth and sample rate of your choice, and exported as wet and dry splits for your extra control at mix. DI’s can also be provided if you wish to have the option to re-amp at a later stage, (Although, no clients have needed to re-amp, to date.)
