SEEKING LYRICIST FOR SONGWRITING TEAM/LABEL RELEASE - (DYSTOPIAN THEMED ROCK PROJECT)

I have a concept driven dystopian themed rock project that I'm producing and I'm bringing on 3-4 cowriters to collaborate on for lyrics, songwriting, and vocal toplines. This will be a commercial release through a record label. For this post specifically, I'm looking for lyricists!

Our first gig will be a bit of a trial run. You will be paid your typical rate, no strings attached. I'd love to bring someone on to our team and give a handful of other tracks, ... but I want to see if this is a theme you can resonate with. We need someone who can effectively connect the lyrics through the song and get the point across. To engage the listeners senses and add meaningful weight to the lyrics. If we decide to move forward and use your work we will additionally offer an official writing credit through AllMusic, a 5% split, as well as additional payments beyond your base charge.

This 1st gig has a piano melody guide to write lyrics to, about 1minute of vocals total. It is a 8 bar verse followed by 8 bar chorus, so quote accordingly. If all goes well, we will expand this gig to a full song package, as well as fund 3-5 additional songs. We do not have a hard deadline (at this time) and we do not have a limited budget.

The theme is entered around a dystopian world that is crashing down from the problems of our society. Lyrics can be linked to a big world government/big brother/1984/fall of the human race type themes, or they can be much more melancholy and personal. They can resonate feelings of hopelessness, the feelings of having no control over your own life/destiny or the fate of humanity. The lyrics can be fairly open to interpretation and non specific, it really comes down to what fits. I will link a few lyrical references that you can pull from as well, from other artists that resonate well with this theme.
