Seeking lyricist for indie/Americana/alt.country/slightly psychedelic project...

Looking for a needle in the proverbial haystack. Working on a follow-up album to one that's gotten some nice airplay here in the UK with indie promotion. This is not a get-rich-quick proposition... :^)

I seem to have a talent for writing stuff with interesting, but unusual melodies. I've always written my own lyrics, but I'm coming up empty (after pages and pages of trying) now. Looking for someone with a strong, intelligent point of view, who doesn't ... like clichés, who has fun with words, and can work with an existing melody - there's obviously flexibility there, but with respect to the original idea. Rhythmic integrity super important (understanding why Killing Me Softly is flawed, although a great song, for example). Above all, who can write lyrics that are singable and worth singing.

A long-term partnership would be ideal. To start, reasonable payment and royalty split.
