Hey!

I'm Diederik, I'm a folk/americana orientated multi-instrumentalist and songwriter eager to compose and record instrumental parts for your song. I love arranging in an atmospheric way, balancing out parts to blend well together and following the less is more principle. Although my base style is folk/americana oriented I love exploring the boundaries of instruments such as pedal steel and banjo outside of these genres as well!

I've been playing guitar for 16 years now and branched out to a wide range of instruments, including:

I've played these instruments for various acts, including Baptiste W. Hamon, Björn van der Doelen, Dési Ducrot, Raymond van het Groenewoud a.o.
I'm also active as a singer-songwriter under the moniker Aidan & the Wild, for which I not only write songs but also do the complete production.

Fun Fact: One of my personal career highlights was opening a show for Hiss Golden Messenger.
