I work out of a hybrid digital/analogue recording studio using Logic Pro and an Allen and Heath GS R24M automated analogue recording console. Most of my processing is done in the box using the Waves suite of plugins. I do use the A&H board eq however as it is great for minor tweaking or major sculpting and it is very musical. You can't beat it. I have many vintage and newer electric and acoustic guitars that can be used depending on the genre of music. A couple of my go to electrics are my 1958 Orange Gretsch 6120 and my 1965 Red Fender Jaguar. There guitars are great for country, blues, surf rock, rockabilly, and rock. I also have a newer Gibson Les Paul and a Fender Lonestar Strat for more heavier rock sounds. As far as amplifiers I have various amp/head combinations that I use depending on the style of music. Some of my amps are: Fender Superchamp, Fender Blues Deluxe, Hughes and Kettner Tubemeister and a 1975 50 watt Marshall JMP. Cabinets include: Marshall 2/12, Orange 1/12 and Hughes and Kettner 1/12. I also have a Pedaltrain pedal board with many boutique pedals by Pigtronix, TC Electronics, Ibanez, Boss etc.
As far as acoustic guitars I mainly use Taylors as they sound amazing and record very well with my Audio Technica 4050 Large Diaphragm microphone.
I primarily write music for tv, film and advertising. My music has been heard on various tv ads for such companies as Honda, Subaru, Mercedes and CIBC Bank.
My service includes up to 4 different tracks of guitars and 1revision if necessary.
